This particular Lowe's store is really hit or miss. I've had Associates there tell me they didn't carry something that They Carried right around the corner. And I've had other associates that were very helpful. Unfortunately more often than not they don't know what they're talking about and they don't know where things are. They seem to be very chatty and spend a lot of time standing around they're quick to tell you that they don't have something as opposed to looking for it. I think they know that they're the only big Home Improvement contractor Center in the area and therefore they just do what they want.

As I was traveling this morning to my destination, I came across a train.  My inclination was to detour and take another route, but my Spirit said, "No. Wait on it to pass."  My mind says, "But I don't know how long this train is and I might be late getting there."  Nonetheless, I was led to wait, so I did.  I am reminded in this situation.  Often, we are on the right road to reach our destination in life, whatever that may be for you, but then we get a distraction, an obstacle, a delay of some kind, something that tempts us to get off the right course and go our own way.  Our thinking may be this distraction is going to keep me from getting there on time or if I don't detour or I'm going to miss getting what is at this destination, etc.  Often when we do detour, like sin, it takes us further than we wanted to go, keeps us longer than we wanted to stay, and costs us more than we wanted to pay.  We prolong our reaching of destination more than the obstacle or distraction that was in our way.  If we sit still and wait on God, we will still reach our destination, at the right time. In that time of waiting, God may be protecting us from something harmful, he may be moving things out the way before we get there, orchestrating things at the destination in order to receive us when we arrive.  We don't always know the meaning behind the delay.  Rest assured the delays we get are not always denials. We all know OUR timing is not God's timing, but His timing is best.  Stay on the course God placed you.  You're going in the right direction.  Don't detour trying to manufacture your own blessing or try to move ahead of God.  The delay is not a denial.  Let God move the obstacle, and you not try to go around it. :~PB

We tried to do an online order and recieved a confirmation it was ready to pick up. We were sent to 4 different places around the store. No one would help us or knew what we were talking about. We even gave the order number to a lady at the pick up desk, and she asked what we ordered. She did not know what we ordered. Tim M. in receiving took time to try to track down our order. He’s the real MVP. My husband and Tim finally just loaded the order themselves. This store is highly unorganized with their processes and it seems like employees are not on the same page.

I really like this store most of the time. My only real complaint is the customer service is not very good. Too many times I needed help within a department and no one is around to be found. I would have someone paged and still no one would come. My last visit I waited 10 minutes for help after three pages and still no one. Finally one of the cashiers who was not busy left her station to help me. As it turned out, the item I needed was out of stock. All that waiting and anxiety for nothing. However, on a positive note, I really appreciate Lowe's respect for veterans by offering us a 10% discount on all our purchases. (Take notice Home Depot.) I will do all my home improvement shopping at Lowes because of this, even though I have to deal with the occasional poor customer service.
