We have tried to use Lowe’s whenever possible as we get an automatic Veterans discount using our Lowe’s card. 
Recently I ordered a Christmas tree storage bag online,m to pick up in store. Online it said “Not in stock” so obviously Lowe’s would need to order the bag and I assumed contact me for pick up once it’s in. 
I received a voicemail shortly after placing my order telling me they didn’t have it in stock and they would have to order it. (Well duh!) 
After a month of never hearing anything back I called to see what was going on. First I was told that the only notes on the account show that they didn’t have it in stock. Yes I know that! You didn’t order it a month ago!?! He then asked someone else what to do and they told him to transfer me to another department when I got to start from scratch.
The woman in the seasonal department advised me that they didn’t have the rolling Christmas tree storage bag in stock and I could go online and order it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I told her I did and wasn’t supposed to pick it up in store...a month ago. She said yes all I can tell you is we don’t have one but I could try again online or she could order it. I told her I had already been charged for the order! Then I asked to cancel the order and again was told to go online. I go back to the app and it doesn’t give me an option to cancel it. 
I Had to call back AGAIN to cance it. Got a new person...started from scratch. Never tried to fix it or help undo the customer service damage and just said sure no problem! 
I explained that I wanted the order but after 4 calls and a month long wait I guess I have to look somewhere else. She put me on hold and came back to tell me that the order was successfully canceled! 😡 
Home Depot is behind my house yet I was driving across town to Lowe’s to be loyal for their loyalty to the military. Well I won’t shop st Lowe’s again! In store or online!

Lowe's Carson City let me down when I needed them.  I bought a top-quality water heater from them in November, 2017.  When it broke in May, 2018, I had a very unhappy family without hot water.  I called for warranty support and spent 2.5 hours on phone runaround with an offshore call center.  When I called Dave at the CC Lowe's where I bought the unit, he would not help.  Most of my appliances, kitchen cabinets, and remodeling supplies have come from Lowe's CC.  Now the trust is gone and I'll go to Home Depot for everything I buy.  Lowe's warranties are worthless.

Went to buy flooring. Didn't have what we were hoping for. Was hard to get help but what we ended up with was a very awesome very informative store employee that helped us with everything and question we had. Ended up in the nursery like always and walked out with a ton of plants we really didn't need just yet..lol..

Easily the worst store for customer service (especially for installations)that I have ever experienced.  They don't return calls, and emails for months at a time either.  Don't trust them!  I use Lowe's in the Las Vegas valley for all of my rentals and they are fine.  But this one in Carson City (for one vacation rental) has consistently and repeatedly disappointed me and never stood behind their repeatedly "atrocious" floor installation until I threatened them with a lawyer after a year of unreturned "pleading" phone calls and emails. Do NOT TRUST THIS STORE!

We purchase full kitchen cabinets, and complete countertops Granite, beware, countertop is  two months out. That means no plumbing or dish washer for that same time, this wife was pissed. So beware on delivery times with three different contractors, about three months for a Carson mallard home. Your on a formal contract with Lowe’s and there’s nothing you can do but wait.,! Your turn
