Confusing. I asked 4 different employees to point me in the direction of Bathroom shower repair. The place is HUGE and plumbing is scattered in several different areas October 2017 Update on my review.. I've gotten to know where items are located. I prefer to get in the store find the needed supplies on my list and get on my way. Better employee training must have been implemented pryer to this updated review. Employees are approaching me to assistance in locating the items I need. Bravo to successful improvements with knowledgeable helpful customer relations Helpful hint. Best time to return items is around 5pm-6pm everyone is either having dinner or stuck in Traffic Lol

I must be a sadist because I'm too lazy to drive the extra distance to go to Home Depot on Copans Rd which is just a few minutes away from this dumpy Lowe's. Once in awhile you get an employee here who actually seems to like their job but today took the cake. 2 employee encounters, one looked like I was asking him to pull his teeth to check to see if he could answer a simple question, the other, just outright rude on self checkout. You know, you wait in line and then when someone moves from a register you take that spot. Well, I waited my turn, went to the register which said "assistance needed" though their had just been some people at it. When the Lowe's help came, she said don't worry about it, it's broke. I was just going to ask her if it could be fixed but before I could get a word out, she looked at me and said "its broke" and walked away while i had to go and stand at the back of the line again. That's because people are so kind here that they don't care enough to let you go to the front of the line since I already waited. I'm driving to Home Depot from now on. The thousands I spent here and to be treated loke garbage. No more.

None of their employees know anything. Do not ask waste of time! Maybe 2 guys in whole store,one in plumbing, one in electric, dont have their heads shoved so far up their butts . Home depot is way to go . avoid lowes at a) costs

This Lowes is just terrible. I’m a licensed contractor and I spend a lot of money at Lowes last year I spent over $75.000.00 there but if you go in there at 7 am there’s never ever anyone in the departments to help you weather it’s cutting blinds ordering a new kitchen or bathroom or Tile they always tell you to come back after 9 am well that really inconvenient because I have to drive to my job and then drive back which takes up two + hours out of my work day so there’s never anyone to help you it’s ridiculous. So I wanted to put in an order to be delivered to one of my jobs I need a truck load of lumber and concrete and Iv been calling the store for 3 days and not one person has answered the phone in any department Iv tried lumber kitchen and bath paint front desk operator and Iv let it ring for 10 minutes this isn’t the first time this has happened either. So I think Iv had it with Lowes I’m going to take my business elsewhere because every time I try to call or go in there it’s a nightmare. Two weeks ago I asked a lady at the check out to make sure a sale price goes thru so I didn’t have to get a refund and go Thru a nightmare like last time this happened well she said yes it’s going thru but she did not check and when I got the receipt it showed the item was $17.00 more than it should of been because of the sale so I had to push my heavy cart full of material down thru the whole store and stand in line for 20 minutes to get the $17.00 refunded which they said it will go back onto my card in 5 to 10 business days which not I have to check my account to see if it did. Bottom line they are lazy and don’t make your shopping experience easy for you and god forbid if you ask anyone a question they make you feel like your bothering them making sighs and an angry face on them. That’s if you can get someone. 90% of them always say I’m busy I’ll get you someone and I see them standing around talking to other employees 5 mins later. Customer service is not what it used to be anymore it’s really sad you would thing someone that spends as much money as I do In there would be able to get a little help and from someone who actually knows and cares about there jobs. Most of the people that work in there departments don’t have a clue what their talking about very inexperienced sales people. So it’s back to Home Depot for me which is out of my way but I’m not spending any more money on a company that doesn’t give a hoot about the very people that contribute to paying there salaries.
