Great store not enough staff. Right after hurricane and they are open for us

This is a no frills grocery store, no free bags for your purchases (bring your own bags or purchase them at the register for 99 cents each). Aisles are not visually pleasing and wares are awkwardly stacked. No staff in the aisles to help you find things. No staff to help you get your purchases out to the car. Few shopping carts. Prices are very good for some things but not as good as Publix or Winn Dixie for others. Meat selection is slim. All foods are off shelf brands. I attempted to purchase some frozen chicken from the center aisle freezer and realized at the register that it was soft, nearly defrosted. While the expiration date was a month away, I didn't want to take a chance on frozen chicken that wasn't being kept frozen in the grocery store. Every single one of the packages of the 6 cheese Italian in the dairy cooler were split open at the bottom. Cashier was very nice. Lots of ethnic foods, primarily Latin and Caribbean. I understand the store is no frills but not keeping frozen foods frozen in the store before I buy them is a real turn off. For that reason, I won't be going back here.

Very filthy store manager looks as if he never washes his clothes he always appears dirty and is very rude. I had found a pack of steak that had a green mold like spot on it. Me being in the customer service field wanted to just let him know and he was rude and exclaimed to me to leave the store for falsely accusing the store of selling expired meat. I wished I had taken a picture of the pack. The day was 5 days past due.

This is two star is only because the cashier with red hair is such a sweetheart every time I walk in. The last time i went here a few days ago the chicken had green slime on it. I brought it to the managers attention that way if someone had bought it they wouldnt get sick. Instead the manager was completely rude looked at the chicken and tells me oh "MY STORE DOESNT SELL BAD PRODUCTS ".  So I showed it to him he called me a liar I slammed the pack of meat on the counter and began to walk out. The lady with red hair saw my frustration and ran to me apologizing dearly. It was absolutely. I told her she didn't have to apologize for someone else's ignorance
