Food was good and service was friendly, but explain to me why the lady charging asks me   how much money I want back to leave my waitress before I've even met the waitress when I'm paying with a debit. I know they want to make sure you have cash to leave on the table,  but I think that's unprofessional.  They should just charge by the door AFTER you've eaten and been served by the waitress.

It reminded me of lunch at school. But careful what you pick out to eat, More food more costly. Even got charged for lemons. Food was good but not great. Waitress was very happy great service at the table.

Good food, and you can get it to go pretty quickly. I love the chicken fried chicken. They also have some decent desserts.

Lubys is nice place to eat.  The only thing I would add is maybe a new look inside.

For a while my wife was getting buy one get one free coupons emailed to her once a week or so, after signing up on the Luby's website.   We would then buy a $50 gift card for $40 at Sam's club.  The net was about 65% off.  If they are still offering the coupons,  it's a super deal.
