Went there for lunch/brunch and would definitely recommend this place. I had the Lobster Eggs Benedict and it was yummy. It was well patronized but the sound level was fine. We could carry on a conversation without having to raise our voices to be heard. This was my second visit and would go back.

This is a wonderful transformation from the recent establishment. Tends to be a bit noisy due to the patrons chatting and sharing their small plates of deliciousness! Management should look into methods of reducing the cacophony while maintaining a lively atmosphere. It is clear the chef and staff are very good at preparing beautiful and delicious food.

We love Lugano for their delicious creations, and the service is first rate! When your destination is Lugano, you're in great hands.

A very nice place with a very nice food. Eggplant tapas had a  great pleasantly chewy eggplant, contrasted to the cheese - softer, but with it's own character.

Baby lamb chops were, as requested, honestly rare. Which is a treat with a good meat. Just the right sprinkle of vinegar and a perfect side of perfectly al dente vegetables. I know al dente is not about vegetables - I do not care, they were good. There were also potatoes, well, there were potatoes.

Got the portobello mushroom with cheese tapas as a desert. Warmed up under a cheese, mushrooms kept the warm aroma and under it. Lift the cheese up - and the aroma just  floats up. Perfect.

What else was perfect? Montepulciano d'Abruzzo with the dinner. There. Done.

One of the better wine-bars in the area.  Ok, thats not saying much, perhaps I should say "a good wine bar" (the quality of pubs in this part of CT is ... lacking).  The happy-hour is *really* good - inexpensive wines, and an excellent selection of tapas-y things to nosh on.  
The bar area is generous, and gets decently filled up, making for excellent chance encounters - an excellent way to whittle away at an evening
The food - can't say much about it. It's quite good, but also resolutely "red-sauce" italian-american ("penne alla vodka". ugh.).  So, if that's your bag, you'll like it...
