I did not anticipate how busy this place would be. There are lots of people coming and going which keeps the atmosphere lively. The service remained excellent in the chaos with a collection of very efficient bar staff. The food was better than I anticipated when my friend suggested a bar for dinner. I had a burger to play it safe. I wouldn't have minded a heartier size but I was very impressed by the flavor. I also had a taste of my friends wings which I found to be quite savory. Even though it's a bar the food is very enjoyable and filling. After eating we stuck around for awhile to drink and socialize. I played darts even though I have bad aim and met people who offered throwing tips which made the night extra entertaining. Even with the crowd of people and volume I didn't have to scream to be heard which has been an issue at other bars. I will be adding tiernans to my list of local hangouts.

The people who works over Tiernan are amazing, the cuisine  is a A+. I will recommend any one to go have  a experience at Tiernan in Stamford,ct.

Visited some family and had food/drinks here Thursday night...   awesome wings.    Also the nicest bartender/waitress I have ever had.   I cannot remember her name but she was so nice and helpful to my daughter and myself.   The owner was also working...real cool guy.   I will visit this place again when we are back in town from South Carolina.

Always a good time. Great place to meet up with friends for a drink and some food, always packed for a game.
