Great Macey’s! Friendly, helpful staff. Clean store. Well organized. I used their online order/pick up this week. Loved it! Only $1.99 to order my groceries online where I can look in my fridge to see what I need and don’t have to worry about forgetting something. I texted them when they got here. Waited about 2 minutes but they apologized they were slow. I didn’t even think it was a bad wait. Definitely recommend!

Date of Visit: 10/21/2017 OVERVIEW - 3.4 Came here to get some balloons filled up with helium that my wife had bought off of the internet for our daughter's birthday party. LOCATION - 4 It is a good location located right along the hustling State Street, granted, it is a ways from the road, almost hidden by the businesses along the street. PRICE - 2 This is the part that gets me irate! Keep in mind these were balloons that needed to be filled with helium nothing more. They charged 2.49 per foil balloon, and 4.49 for a "jumbo" balloon... I only came here because of a recommendation of a friend that said it was cheap. I was also disappointed in the employee not notifying me of the full price. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 4 It's as simple as filling a balloon with helium, not much to say. POINTERS/PERKS - 4 If you want to get your balloons filled with helium, go somewhere else, maybe like Wal-mart, where it is tons cheaper! EMPLOYEES - 3 The young lady that helped us was friendly, but could use additional training on customer service and letting us know that they'd be charging us the price of the balloons up-front...

Ever since they switched their grocery bags, they break really easily. I had an awesome bagger this week, but he definitely could use some training. He put 10 cans of vegetables and a 5 pound thing of flour all in the same bag (not double bagged.) I had the handles of the bag break on me and cans rolling all over the parking lot (while juggling a baby in my arms.) I also had 2 other bags that had the handles break with way too much stuff in the bags. I'm pretty disappointed. This is a picture of the bag when I got home.

If you want to take your kids for some ice cream cones or even as a cheap date then you should go to Macey's for their soft serve frozen yogurt. They have a "small" cone for 59 cents, the next size up for 99 cents, and then a huge one that basically requires you to have it in a large soda cup or else it will tip over for about a buck fifty. They also have dole whips that are good. As for the grocery part, the prices are pretty good and the people that served me were friendly.

Who knew a grocery store could be such a community center? That's what Macey's has been from day 1 in Pleasant Grove. From tail gating parties to carnivals and a place for teens and adults to see and visit with friends, this large, full service grocery store has been a real asset to the community. The store, while not that old, did a remodel recently to keep things fresh and updated. They also installed several self checkout terminals, so getting in and out is very convenient...plus with a gas station on site you can stock up, fill up and get on the road in a quick order.
