We stayed in Cabin #2. It was mostly great! The place was cozy and had a very rustic feel. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The hosts were nice to us and everything went smoothly! My only complaint is that the website says they provide breakfast (and I assumed it was since it's advertised as a bed and breakfast), but breakfast was basically some granola, dry plain oatmeal, an 8 oz bottle of milk in the fridge, and a few pieces of fruit. I appreciated the small snacks there! But the nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes away. After we figured out that was breakfast, we went to the store and got some actual food for breakfast. The website makes it clear that the grocery store is kind of far- that was helpful, because we brought food to make dinner. The kitchen is equipped with pots/pans, and cooking there was really fun! I just wish we had known to bring enough food for dinner and breakfast, as well. It would have allowed us to skip that extra hour long trip and enjoy our stay more. 
For the price it was pretty good- the other places to stay in Madera Canyon were pretty pricey. Ultimately, I would love to stay there again, and we would be more prepared to have a nice stay!

Love Madera Kubo. The A frame is cozy and romantic, the largest rental is comfortable and beautiful. If you're lucky you'll get a visit from the wild turkeys. Only take a check as a deposit on the reservation, typically $50.

Had a fantastic stay at Madera Kubo B&B! The hiking in Madera Canyon is outstanding and you can walk to many of the trails right from Madera Kubo.

Incredible experience! Hosts are thoughtful and kind, the cabin felt magical as if out of a fairy-tale! So many hummingbirds and colorful song birds; their tunes combined with the melody of the babbling stream was the perfect soundtrack to such a perfect stay! I cannot reccomend this place highly enough! I will for sure be returning to this hidden fairy cottage!!

I needed to cancel a reservation due to unforseen circumstances. Called multiple times with no answer or ability to leave a voice mail. How did you not have an answering system in place with today's technology? Also emailed multiple times with no answer. I guess I'm just out the $50 deposit. And no info on the website regarding cancellations. Obviously I have my answer now.
