I was looking for a new stereo for my truck and knew best buy would install it for free so I chose to purchase it from them. Unfortunately, the associate that helped select the make/model wasn't very tech savvy. After best buy installed the new stereo, I quickly realized the promised features were not compatible with my truck. After talking with the installer, we were able to find a better solution that would fit my needs and even though the stereo I chose was not available from Best buy, he still agreed to install the stereo. I felt like best buy, in particular, their stereo installer and customer service rep had my ultimate satisfaction in mind. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for future service.
Went in to exchange an item for one the website said they had in stock. We waited in line for our turn and when our turn was up the guy with the curly hair with a sparkly nose ring at the customer service area of course he had no name tag had us come over to the return area where we watched as he helped 3-4 people before he finally came to help us with our exchange. Turns out our item wasnt "in stock" it was in the back and we had to come back tomorrow again to pick it up because they didn't want to grab it. So we asked if the other best buy in sparks has the same item in stock and he said no they don't have any. Well against his word we went anyways thinking we'll just order it there if they don't have it.. well they did have it in stock and only took us a total of 5 minutes from the time we walked in to walking out with our new item vs almost 45 minutes at the Reno best buy for nothing!! Definitely recommend sparks best buy, much nicer and faster.
Shopping for a large LED television. I found one of the sales staff that actually had some knowledge about the products. What a surprise! If the person you are talking to keeps looking on their "smartphone" so that they can answer your questions, they don't know what they are talking about. Use you own phone or computer. The sales staff should have knowledge in their head and not have to consult a device to answer a question. This store has a knowledgeable and personable staff member that actually knows the products. What a refreshing find!
I always buy my screen protectors and cases here. Sometimes there is a wait for service at the “help desk“, but they are good at what they do—quick and professional technicians do a great job. They honor the guarantee on the screen protector without any hassle at all. I also like their honest advice when something is outside their scope.
Best buy is a neat place. Erik was very helpful. The store is understaffed!!! Waited a long time to be helped. Erik helped us and was wonderful but we and others had to wait close to an hour for assistance. Made us want to leave and not come back. They need to hire more people.
Best Buy customer support is beyond useless, I was lied to several times about getting my <2 yr old pc repaired. Not only was I scammed from being sold a pc that ceased to work after less than 2 years, but they tried to overcharge me on the repair that was supposed to be free. Go anywhere else, this company is a giant scam
Great options, great knowledge of the staff at least from the guy who answered some technical questions i had about TV sound bars... and yes it can be very techie if you dont know the difference between HDMI and HDMI Arc. Also i had to exchange an item and they did it quickly and easily! What else would you need from such a retail store!
Other than the homeless looking and smelling guy giving us his reviews on gaming keyboards, the staff was very helpful, including the employee who helped us then figured out his shift wasn't for another hour.
I bought a new iPad and got all the answers I needed so I could make the best selection. Very honest. Thank you Best Buy !
Edgar is a great resource in the computer department. I went in with questions and his insight was very helpful and appreciated. I give 3star bc not much inventory on salesfloor, had to wait an hour for something I wanted in stock at that location, and it was only Edgar covering the entire Windows section.
