WE ARE THE ONLY HOTEL IN THIS AREA THAT SITS ON THE WATER! WE HAVE DONE A LOT OF REMODELING IN OUR HOTEL NEW LOBBY NEW CARPET IN THE ROOMS FRESH PAINT ALSO WE ARE IN PROCESSING RIGHT NOW PAINTING THE WHOLE HOTEL BUILDING PROJECT SHOULD BE DONE LESS THEN A MONTH! WE HAVE A GREAT RESTAURANT INSIDE OUR HOTEL CALL DOCKSIDE GREAT FOOD AND ENTERTAINING. NEXT TOO US WE HAVE BOAT RENTAL AND CHARTERS OUR HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION SHOPPING CENTER NEXT TOO US WHICH INCLUDES PUBLIX BIG LOTS AND MORE. I'm a travelling artist and musician and stay many places. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading a few of the negative reviews, but I love it here! The restaurant attached is great. The water views of the pier and pool from the outside deck is beautiful! The rooms have a fridge, microwave, and are pretty large and comfortable. Looking forward to staying here whenever I'm in town!

I checked out of a nearby hotel (Riverside Inn) because the rooms were barely passable as storage bins. Then they moved me to their pet friendly rooms when my family came in with our two small dogs. Even worse!
  Magnuson, however, has an amazing staff and the room we have been put in for our pets is beautiful and right on the water for an excellent price. Kudo's to Magnuson.

I stayed at this hotel and if I had read the reviews I may have passed by this gem .The Marina is beautiful and the hotel is nice and quiet. The entire staff was warm and friendly. 
A great value for a family. The pool is well taken care of and the tiki bar is a bonus.Keep up the good work I will be back for sure!

My family and I were completely disgusted with the facility. We checked out just about as soon as we checked in. The owners must have hired a magician of a photographer to show the property online because in no way did the actual building match the photos. The bed sheets were dirty or stained. We saw what appeared to be mold in the shower caulking. In one of our 2 rooms, the soap dish in the shower had been broken off and it left behind a rusted metal piece that could cause injury, tetanus included. The floors were absolutely filthy. As if this was not bad enough, the entire building had a terrible smell to it. When discussing our concerns with the employee she informed us that those were the newly remodeled rooms. I would be terrified to see the older version of them. I would NOT stay here, even if you got a great deal. Its not worth it!

I was impressed and would recommend a stay at this hotel. Have stayed at all of the hotels along 19 in this area and this is the best hotel I have found. There was live entertainment in the bar. Where you have a full menu and a pool table and darts. They have a grill and picnic tables if you want to grill out. The room was beautiful, we got the upgrade of the king sized bed with the large overstuffed pillows. Our room had a Jacuzzi bath tub, fridge, microwave, and everything else you would find in a hotel. It was a great experience and will be returning soon.
