Perfect. One of the few places you can get a cake/cupcake where the icing isn't a sugary fatty mess that you scrape off to the side bc it's too sweet with no real flavor. Their cakes are amazing quality pieces that are worth it. We even got our wedding cakes from them and it made me very happy that almost every guest commented on how good the cakes were (one strawberry, one vanilla). You should definitely consider them for any time you want a cake that is more than worth every single calorie

This is a great local bakery with fantastic pastries and cakes. Give them a try and it will be your “go to” place for all your sweet needs! We love it!

Came in here looking for some cute cupcakes for my hubby's birthday. We are from out of town and the lady at the visitor center recommend Magpies. They had a good variety of cupcakes and they were helpful. Cupcakes were terrific!

Magpies did an absolutely incredible job on both our wedding and groom's cake! We did two cake tastings with Magpies and absolutely fell in love with their fun flavors and the stunning cakes they made in the past. We provided them with pictures from Pinterest and they were absolutely picture perfect- the colors and textures were exactly what we were looking for, and they specifically purchase a cake stand we were able to rent to complement it. 

For the wedding cake we decided on three tiers with different flavors, textures, and colors on each... a lot to go wrong, but everything was perfect: First layer: vanilla cake with raspberry filling. Second layer: chocolate cake with hazelnut filling. Third layer: vanilla cake with strawberry shortcake filling. Groom's cake: Chocolate Guinness cake with Bailey's cream cheese filling. How fun! 

I have never seen a cake so gorgeous, and it still tasted wonderful! Instead of saving the top layer, we are making a special trip on our one year anniversary to recreate our first bite with a fabulous and fresh mini-cake!

Best Cakes in the nation. The cream filled oatmeal cookie is devine and a must have for anyone with a soul.
