Mainly Plumbing and Heating connected my townhouse to the local natural gas line in '12 and I have continued to use them ever since. They are terrific! Not only are they very responsive, their technicians are really good and thorough. For heating and A/C maintenance or repair (both my boiler and whole house A/C unit are 12 years old) I know I can rely on them for excellent service when I need it.

The service we got, if you could call it that, was unbelievably incompetent and unprofessional. It was a challenging bathroom job due to the layout of the plumbing and the possibility of a broken pump. The plumber was angry and complained at the previous workmanship and rude to my wife when she asked if it was possible to repair the system rather than replace the pump, (over $1,000) especially because he could not figure out what the problem really was. He was furious that my wife did not trust his gut feeling and quit. My wife was alone with him and hid because she was afraid of his anger and irrational behavior. Furthermore, when she tried to call the office they did not answer and when they did and we asked to speak to this man they said they couldn't make him answer the phone. Something is very wrong. Yesterday he was on a "vacation day" I have the feeling he is an unstable unfortunate individual whom they have needed and have tried to help or maybe he owns the company. Who knows. The worse experience we have ever had. Do not use this company. The next person we hired, came in, analyzed the problem, gave us an up front quote with an explanation, did the work carefully and cleaned up afterwards. What a difference. If you are desperate, as we were, please don't take a chance this guy was scary.

Expensive, untrained, and very poor service. The technician not only had to read the instructions several times (complaining how complex the standard sink faucet was) he made multiple calls to the office to ask for support and lengthy trips to his vehicle. We had to get a second plumber to come in afterward to fix the work....at much lower rates.

Extremely professional and easy going. Completed job on-time and under budget. I would highly recommend calling Steve.

I've called several times to get the technician back to my house to do the work and they ignore me. They have no interest in customer service.
