Traveled from Philadelphia to a conference at Malcolm Shabazz Mosque. I had a small shoulder bag with me, but the guy at the front desk said, many, many, many times, "No bags allowed inside, that's the rule". I explained to him that this would pose a real inconvenience because I had to walk many blocks to where the car was parked to leave the bag. Suppose I had taken the train up that day. Then what? I couldn't attend the event, because I had a bag? Like a robot, desk guy kept saying, "No bags allowed". Robotic, rude, and unsympathetic. NOT the guy you want to be your first contact with the public. Horrible attitude and bad people skills.

I met very nice people in the mosque today. There's one mankind and there's one God. Peace and blessings to his final messenger prophet Mohammad.

The front day guy was the rudest, most obnoxious person that I've met. I arrived 20 minutes before the prayer time and was relaxing in the prayer room. He started yelling at me that I had to leave! When I argued with him that I'm just waiting for the prayer time, he even threatened me that "leave while you can"! Won't go back ever.
