I love the environment at Malstrom. And I really appreciate that they offer cruelty free and vegan products. Alisa cut and colored my hair and I LOVE it. Go to Alisa, she is AMAZING! ❤

I love the people and the service  at Malstrom Salon. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic. Mindy is apprenticing with David and has cut my hair twice and it looks great! Everyone is friendly and I love getting a cup of Aveda hot tea. Mindy has also done permanent make up tattooing on my eyebrows and eyeliner. I love it! She's professional and clean.she walked me through what to expect during the healing process and I couldn't be happier with my eyeliner and eyebrows!

I was new to Salt Lake a few years ago and was looking for a professional and consistent hair cut place. I have short hair, so I take a risk with a new place. I found Alisa at Mälstrom and was thrilled! She cuts my hair exactly the way I describe to her and she’s a great person to chat with throughout the experience. I’ve been going to Mälstrom for about two years and I’ll never go anywhere else.

I've been a client at Malstrom Salon for several years, and it is by far the best experience I've had. The atmosphere is bright, warm and inviting. Emily's professional skills are unmatched and her sparkling personality make sitting in the chair a pleasure!  I can't give this salon enough stars!  Highly recommend!!

I saw Bri at Malstrom. Had a friend recommend her. I went to another salon to first start the process of my dark brown virgin hair to this Balyage. Wasn't happy with the results. Waited as long as I could before I couldn't stand it and went to Bri. She fixed what the other person did to make it cute! But not quite what I was looking for in that appointment. (which she warned me about at the beginning and said it would take until the next appointment to achieve what I was looking for.) Especially going from dark brown to wanting some super light blonde highlights. Came back in for 2nd session with Bri and WHALA! I got what I asked for. It was kinda hard being patient. Especially for a virgin hair colorer who just wants to go from natural hair to perfection in 1 appointment. (which I learned would have like... killed my hair.) But Now I finally got it I feel like it was totally worth it, And was glad I trusted Bri! As you can see. The results speak for itself.
