Margarita was by far the best I ever tasted. Had two rounds. Food was fast to come out, a lot for your money. Had a lot of left overs to take home also. Definitely coming back. Especially on Monday and Tuesday for happy hour all day!!!

It's at the corner of I-45 and College Park. It's a little hard to see from the main road. And that's quite a complex Interchange to get off on. It is in the strip center and it's right in the center. Parking lots large clean and wide. It's a typical Mexican restaurant with good prices and large portions. We seated right away and they brought chips and salsa out. It appears to be complementary. I ordered from the menu and they had many items from $8 to $10. They were more reasonable than other places in the area. The waiter was a little slow coming around but he was kind of busy. The food came out it was hot and fresh. It tasted good. It was my first time here and I will be back again. Please leave a thumbs-up for my comments.

I have been in and out of this place for nearly a decade, hoping things would get better. No, only worse. My review is based on multiple experiences, not just a single bad visit. The food here is hit or miss, mostly miss. The prices are steep for what tastes like frozen food heated in a microwave, which is likely the case considering you're served within 5 minutes of ordering. At best the food is tolerable, and what's truly atrocious is the service. I'm talking consistently terrible service. The wait staff is lazy and inattentive and it has been this way for years, so they're getting trained to be bad or not trained at all. I've watched the servers lounge around while all the customers' drinks are empty, and more often than not you'll only see your waiter twice: when you order and when it's time to pay. The bus boys deserve your tips, not the servers, because they're the ones filling your drinks and replacing your chips and salsa. The last time I was there was it for me; I had had enough and would never return. The food was inedible for both me and my brother. We complained and the manager just argued with us. It's not as if we ate the meal and then complained. We couldn't stomach the food at all. He was not at all interested in our pleasure and seeing us return. And we were not rude, loud, or anything of the sort when making our complaints, yet the manager was. The customer is not always right; in fact we're wrong more often. But when both meals are terrible, it's not the customers, it's the kitchen. Stay away from Mama Juanitas. Not only is the food terrible, the service is worse.

Food was ok, margarita was awful. Had beef fajitas for two, very little meat at all...mostly vegetable. Place is very over priced for low quality food. We will not be back.

Best mexican place I've found since moving to the area. Those margaritas are powerful & pack a punch!!
