The food here is really good! The service can be quite slow sometimes when they are busy, but the food is worth waiting for. The serving sizes are pretty good too, so you get what you pay for. If you get a VIP card you can get 15% off Monday through Thursday and 10% off the other days, excluding alcohol. I like going here with groups because it is a very chill atmosphere. Worth a try! Don't let the appearance of the restaurant deter you either. It's quite pleasant inside.

The food was great and the people werwvery gentle. And for women. We need to ask for half plates because is you can get fat easily eating there👌

Manager changed specials on us and wouldnt even come tell us himself.  We been coming here on Tues and Thursday for years. Service sucked. When we get Jose its the best. never again will we come back......

I was pleasantly surprised by Mama Juanitas and I'll absolutely be returning in the future. It's within close walking distance from the nearby Holiday Inn (and the Tesla Supercharger). The atmosphere is casual and cozy, even though it's not a small place. The staff was polite and quick and answered my questions about the menu. The chips and salsa are great and satisfying. The dish I had, Fish Mazatlan (pictured) was exactly what I hoped it would be - flaky red snapper, topped with a creamy mushroom, shrimp, crawfish sauce. For what it's worth, their Dr Pepper was great - their soda machine has a good mix. Will definitely come again on my driving trips to Houston.

We always love the service we get at Mama Juanita's. And, kids eat free on Sunday. Thank you to our server today, Juan, who did an excellent job!
