Serving seafood the "Goode way."

Story

Our concept is to grill fresh seafood over mesquite, or fry it in refined oil with a thin batter. So, while you'll find signature dishes like campechanas, seafood gumbo and whole stuffed flounder on the menu, you won't find sauces or heavy layers of breading to mask the flavor of the fish. And if something isn't in season, you won't find it on the menu.

I recently visited this restaurant for a Birthday dinner with friends and was highly impressed. In the past, their service was less than impressive, but the quality of the food allowed me to see past that.
Last night was much different; I’m not sure if it made a difference that we went on a busy night or what - but the service was INCREDIBLE.
We were visited not only by the manager on duty, but also several other servers who constantly made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall wonderful experience, I just hope that they continue to hire hard working, caring servers. It really makes all the difference!

I've visited this location in the past and recall excellent service....
My recent visit started off a little shaky to the point that I had to get up from my table and walk out of the door. My assigned server was not attentive and not up to par.....
Before I made it to the car I decided to call to speak with the manager. I was introduced to a true angel in the restaurant industry. Her name is DENISE!!! SHE WAS UNDERSTANDING, SHE WAS ATTENTIVE, SHE WAS THE REDEEMING FACTOR THAT INFLUENCED ME TO COME BACK INTO THE RESTAURANT AND ENJOY A MEAL AFTER A DAY OF HOLIDAY SHOPPING. The takeaway from this experience is I got an opportunity to meet Denise and I enjoyed some of the very best gumbo that I've ever had from a restaurant. Denise also took it upon her self to serve me and she assigned another young man to assist with my dining needs as well. This Goode Company Seafood experience ended up being outstanding although it didn't begin that way. THANK YOU DENISE FOR BEING AMAZING AND SETTING AN EXAMPLE OF WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Went with high expectations but this Goode Co. still exceeded them. The decor is Gulf nostalgic and a little upscale. The food and service were outstanding. Loved the oysters.

I dined at this restaurant for a weekday business lunch and was surprised by the large space packed with patrons. Quite a loud atmosphere for a professional conversation but totally worth it. Server and staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was just OK, shrimp was dry and over cooked while the bacon was a bit burnt in places. The main dish was incredible, I ordered the mesquite grilled swordfish. It was a perfectly cooked juicy piece of fish that was not overly mesquite powered. XL serving of classic Pecan Pie topped with a scoop of blue bell ice cream for dessert was indulgent. A must for out of towners and locals. Definitely going back the next time I’m in town.

I had the Texas shrimp with mash potatoes and I gotta say that bacon was amazing. I’m actually eating the leftovers now. Also ordered a side of asparagus topped with crab and was not disappointed. 10/10 will be back soon
