This theater is definitely sub-par when compared to many others around the area. While nothing about it is awful, it has a lot of... "quirks" that have made my experiences there less enjoyable than they could've been. My biggest complaints deal with the screen/projector used in the main theater. It seems as though the projector is hitting the screen a slight angle, which causes the projected image on the left side of the screen to be taller than the projected image on the right side of the screen. Additionally, I've noticed that the image sometimes gets a little distorted, similar to when you look through hot air coming off the flames of a grill. That being said, the seats are reasonably comfy, the staff members are polite, and it is always clean! The Highland Mann Theater is better than the nearby Grandview Theater, but there are certainly better places to see a movie in St. Paul.

Employees are pleasant, curteous & efficient. Place is clean. If you ask, they do offer senior discounts for tickets. Had a fun spur-of-the-moment evening out with a friend. Saw "Murder on the Orient Express." Good movie.

Good old fashioned movie theatre with "old school" recliners. (Old fashioned folding seats with weak springs in the back rest so you feel like you are reclining.) It's not the height of luxury, but is still a great place to watch a movie

It was so cold in the theater that I almost left during the movie (it was about 2 degrees today). The chairs are not super comfy and they are squeaky. Some kid behind me kept bouncing around in theirs. The prices are low, but the quality is as well. No complaints about sound or picture (saw Star Wars the Last Jedi)

Admission was great and so was the room. Great experience. Support your local theaters.
