Marc graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a degree in Political Science in 1994. After graduating, Marc attended the South Carolina State Criminal Justice Academy where he was then hired as Police Officer with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department in South Carolina. In 1996, he took a position as a claim representative with State Farm Insurance in West Orange NJ. Later he moved to Charleston SC in the same capacity and in 2000 was selected as a State Farm Agent, where he opened up the office in Edgewater, MD.
