We came here tonight after hearing the food was great and we were not disappointed at all. The 2 owners quickly made friends with us, gave us all sorts of samples, we chatted about their time in the Mediterranean and Middle East, it was nothing short of a great experience. Then the food is all totally authentic and made from scratch. No complaints, I'd recommend this place in a heart beat.

Have been going to Mardini's regularly since 2010. 2012 I worked a block away from the deli so it became my regular lunch stop. Friendly owner and excellent food are the reason I go out of my way to make sure to visit at least once every time I return to the Bay area to visit family. I have had Gyro at many restaurants across the U.S. and Mardini's hands down takes my award for Best in the US. If you live in the Bay area or are just popping in for a visit, Mardini's is a must try at least once. Here it is 2018, eight years and had one tonight and hoping for another tomorrow!

Such incredible food and such an awesome experience! The second we walked in, the owner was extremely kind to us. She gave us a good recommendations based on our taste. She and her husband are from Jerusalem and they are extremely talented chefs. I had the beef and lamb shawerma and tried the beef and lamb gyro and the falafel. Both were PHENOMENAL. Extremely flavorful and well cooked meat. The sauces were on point. Texture and temperature blends were perfect too.

They dropped my chicken on the ground, put it back on the plate, and then they tried to serve it to me. I've never seen anything like it. I couldn't believe it. Disgusting. Never going there ever again.

Great food and great people who own the place. I have found conflicting times when they open, so just call them. DON'T order online. They open at 11am on Sundays BTW.
