We love going out to this beach. Crowded in some spots but keep going. We usually walk along the train tracks to get out further. We always find the perfect empty area, everytime! Great place to find shells, have a picnic, bring the dog, exercise, sunbathe, swim... You get the idea 😉

Fantastic place to visit. Small park, but nice access to waterfront and shoreline locks with dry boat storage facility (if you are looking for fun things for kids to watch) we stayed the day here just hanging out and enjoying glimpses of good weather. Definitely a local gem.

Spacious off leash area with a smaller off leash enclosure for the tiny dogs. Water spicket and bowls available. Several cans spread throughout the area to dispose of your puppies business. Don't remember seeing poo bags but I carry my own anyway. Park butts up against Puget sound so be prepared for wet dog. We come for the bonus of water to play in. Cons: tends to be crowded, very close to the train tracks and trains are loud, it is possible for your dog to swim out and return on the wrong side of the fence. Other than that, typical dog park politics. If your dog is social, this place is a treat.

The public park is beautiful. I have a separate review in regards to the dog park. Too many irresponsible owners, lots of aggression. Park itself is beautiful though, it's a shame the type of crowd ruins it.

One of the prettiest north parks. You must walk by the fishing pier during the sunset to enjoy the view.
