There is a beautiful hike down to the beach but we have never spent more than 15 minutes there. We have only visited during cooler weather so the beach would be super windy but still a great sight. There’s dogs there playing and they’re always so nice. The walk back to the parking lot is a bit tough but once you get to the top, you will feel good about yourself!

Nice short hike without the need of traveling far to it. The hike starts off downhill until you reach the beach which is a space where you can absorb the beauty of it. Nice place to meditate, think, or have a snack before you head back up. The beach is Rocky but that's expected of Seattle beaches. Trail clean and spacious for people on it. Dog friendly. Parking is limited in the lot but people come and go quick so u can easily wait at the entrance until someone comes back up to leave. Or u can park up the hill in the nearby neighborhoods.

The beach isn't that big but the entire park is gorgeous!! The hike back up is definitely a trek so watch out for those stairs. It's a very serene and tranquil area overlooking the Olympics with great views of the sunset.

Excellent trails, beautifull woods. You will see beauty on the way down, You will pay for it on the way up. It's well worth the sweating, and panting many of us do by the time we get back to our car. If your in good shape you can make it down to the water and back in 45min (winded), most of us should expect 1-1/2 hrs to 2 hrs without much time spent at the beach. Check the bulletin board I have hiked down to find no beach access. Different, less traveled trails can offer a completely new experience for someone who has visited it hundreds of times. PLEASE DON'T LITTER 🌎

I came here with my husband, our two young daughters (ages 6 and 8), and our very active but sweet 11-month-old puppy. We had a nice walk down to the water, and then it was easy to take the pup off-leash and let her chase some sticks into the water. The kids loved the walk through the woods (and it was short enough that we got no significant complaining) and dipping their toes in the stream down at the beach, as well as doing some fun digging and beach-combing. We'll be back again for sure!
