Honestly, so far, so bad with this doctor. If you are like me and don't get sick often, but when you do its really bad, this is not the doctor for you. Getting in touch with him is darn near impossible. Schedule is frequently slammed. Honestly makes a joke out of having a primary care physician. I try to bring up what appear to be serious issues in my health, and it gets treated more as an inconvenience. I called earlier this morning for a referral for a specialist and guess what, never heard back. I've had roofers provide better customer service than im getting in this relationship. As it stands right now, I haven't had a bowel movement in 17 days. I try to contact him and yet, nothing. It's like I'm chasing my own Healthcare. Oh. And last week finally saw him. We went over my issue. He gave me some solutions, however was at a loss as to what might be wrong. So he said try the suggestions in the morning and call back before 2 to try to get an emergency CT scan. I call at 140 due to no change in conditions. I get a call back at 240 and was told by this point it's too late in the day to get a scan done and to call back Monday if issues persist. Ended up going to the er that evening and got everything done that i needed. Needless to say, once I'm healthy again, i will be changing doctors. I hate writing bad reviews and I know Mark is a good guy, but just not the doctor for me.

I usually dont post anything negative regarding service, however I feel this is necessary. Dr. Skier is not my regular physician but I needed to get in and see someone because I had an awful sore throat. As usual, the nursing staff was awesome but when Dr. Skier came in to check at my throat he glanced at it for what seemed like a second, said it didn't look like strep and that "he didn't know what to tell me" he also said he "could write me a prescription." I didn't know how to respond to that and said that he should know if I need a perscription, not me. He also seemed very nervous and just awkward. I went home feeling awful and very unhappy with my appointment. I took care of it as best I could with tea, cough drops, etc. but last night it flared up and i went into a urgent care because I could hardly breathe/swallow again. I got a very thorough check up and found out i have an infection/abcess by my tonsils. If i would have been treated correctly the first time, I doubt I would be on 3 medications and possibly have to get the abcess drained if the meds don't work. I tried my best to tell him how awful my throat felt and that I wanted a better answer than to gargle salt water, but he is a doctor so I assume he would know best. Lesson learned if I'm doubting the care I had I should seek another opinion ASAP.
