I had been to Marsha Brown’s a few years ago and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere unique and fun. My husband and I decided to go for an early Valentines Dinner and were disappointed to find out they didn’t offer any gluten free options on the menu. Our server went back and forth with the kitchen to see what they could possible whip up that was gluten free but the options were very limited and I didn’t feel confident at that point that the dish would indeed be gluten free. I certainly should have called ahead to find out what their gluten free options were but lately I find most restaurant at least have a few gluten free offerings on the menu. I become very sick after eating any wheat products so I couldn’t chance it. Unfortunately after a drink we had to leave. Time to update your menu and pay attention to what’s happening culturally with our food needs. The gluten free club is growing!

The location of Marsha Brown is kind of hard to get to but I think it was definitely worth the drive especially from downtown Philly. I thought the service was very good the staff was knowledgeable and was willing to make changes to their menu for me. We had a really great meal and the place was nice and quiet for a business meeting. I really love the decor and the look and feel of Marsha Brown I would highly recommend it. The only thing I would not recommend on the menu that I tried was the sweet potato casserole but if you love onion rings you definitely have to give these a try.

There is really nothing like Marsha Brown. Upon entrance we requested a private room on the first floor and were seated there even though it was just two adults and a toddler. The room was truly beautiful and we enjoyed eating there. We ordered lobster bisque, catfish sandwich, jambalaya, and the crabcake. All items were delicious. We loved eating hot crispy bread with butter that was served! Can't wait to come back.

What a special experience. My Husband and I had the pleasure of dining here for our anniversary and our waiter, Mick, was truly a gem. The embodiment of hospitality. The food was the perfect segway of Creole cuisine intelligently interpreted for the areas demographic.

It was the 1st place that popped up in Google search for "gluten free restaurant in New Hope". While the decor was interesting & the staff was nice, the menu was overly expensive (5 shrimp app for $17) & barely had a thing gluten free on it. Worst part, it was my birthday, we 4 elementary school kids, a toddler & a teenager at home so getting out alone together is slim. Waste of time & money.
