Funny, before we went here I read a review that mentioned that they were hesitant to write a review, as they were worried that the place would become so popular that they couldn't get a seat in the future. Feel the same way now! Awesome ambience, good service, very good food! The burger was good, not amazing, but the steak frites and bacon wrapped dates were insane. They also had a very nice chocolate cake. Wish they had a better beer selection with more local options, but it was better than the average place.

This place is doing everything right! Romantic and enchanting. My husband and I have lived in this area for 7 years moving down from New York. All we wanted was a pub-type place to get a good meal or sit at a bar where they are not rolling up the carpet at 10 pm. The bar is well stocked, the service is immediate, and the food is flavorful and rich. Particularly loved the cosy happy crowd. Definitely a first date type of place. Enjoy!

The food was delicious but the portions are small and the prices are not cheap. The service was pretty bad. The decor is beautiful. I'm conflicted because I really want them to succeed but if you are going to charge so much you have to be a little more attentive to the customers. We sat for a while with food but not silverware and there were a few other little problems that just ruined the romantic ambience.

I feel badly writing a review that reflects poorly on an establishment, but I hope that it will help the restaurant improve. First, the customer service was great. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. They are the reason I awarded 2 stars. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience wasn't great. Be forewarned that if you sit upstairs, the tables are VERY low. I'm 5'3", and my legs didn't fit under the tables. My 6'2" boyfriend was very uncomfortable, and we switched chairs and tables a few times before accepting the situation was what it was. For drinks, I ordered canned beer, and the inner rim of the can was covered in dirt. Not just a little dirt. A lot of dirt, and the can was sticky. I'm surprised it was even served to me, but I get it, things happen, so I ordered another draft beer that was good. For appetizers, we ordered the artichokes and the pickles. Artichokes were great. Pickles were fine, nothing special. But, I will say, the taste of apps were not worth their pricey tag. You basically pay $7 for one pickle sliced up. For dinner, per the waitress' suggestion, I ordered the burger. It was good. It wasn't anything mind blowing like I'd hoped based on other reviews. It was just a good, satisfying burger. My better half ordered the Mac and Cheese, and he could only stomach two bites. I took a bite of it, and it tasted like butane. After sending back a beer, I really didn't want to rock the boat by also sending back an entree, so we just decided to leave. Almost $100 later, we left disappointed and still hungry. I had very high hopes for this restaurant, and I do hope it improves. It's a great idea in a good location, but definitely needs to work out some major kinks, in my opinion. My final thoughts: If you're considering dining here, give it a shot. Support local businesses! Don't let my one review deter you. There were plenty of other wonderful reviews that perhaps I just dined on the wrong night. Just be mindful of the points I addressed above.

The food is great, drinks are a bit pricey. Seating is limited so it can be tough to get a table in the winter. When the weather is warm they have outdoor seating which is nice.
