My entire family is from Waynesville, and whenever I come to visit them, going to Mast is a must. I love going to the Candy Barrel and getting way too much chocolate than what’s probably healthy.

You can find anything outdoorsy and durable there too, which is awesome in such a great outdoor community.

This is a cool little place if you like tourist type General stores. They have a good selection of different things. I go in there to get socks because they have a good choice

This is a fantastic store that has something for everyone. I get so much of my Christmas shopping done here because it's so easy to find things that will make people happy, from pretty sweaters for my grandma, hiking boots and camping equipment for the guys, to unique toys for the kids. Their inventory is consistently high quality- I use cast iron pans that I bought here a decade ago very regularly and they are still as great today as they were the day I bought them. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Their candy store is INCREDIBLE!

Great store! Fun for the locals and visitors! Clothing and shoes and other accessories upstairs, and downstairs is filled with all kinds of fun things from great gifts to old time candy and toys! It's a must see!

The Mast General Store is a great nostalgic place to shop.  The products are all high quality and the product selection is varied.  The staff is very friendly and the "feel" of the store is reminiscent of "days gone by".  Pets are allowed in the store and water and treats are gives to all "furry" shoppers! It's one of our beagle's "favorite" stores! It's a treat for us as well when we come to Waynesville!
