My wife and I enjoyed a very nice eating experience here!  I don't know what angers people so much that they would trash this place in their reviews; perhaps a bad day for them, but not for us!  We started out with the lobster bisque and it was fabulous; you could definitely taste the sherry!  It has many huge chucks of lobster meat.  I noticed the table next to us had the lobster roll and it also was loaded with huge chucks of lobster meat; no mayonnaise.  Next, we split beer batter cod fish & chips platter (new menu).  Good thing, because that was a huge piece of fish and found it really good; I should have took a picture.  Service was wonderful and friendly!  Even the bathrooms were very clean.  We left a big tip.

I found the owner and staff to be very rude. I found one particular waitress with red hair to be extremely rude and not polite towards her customers. Upon bringing this to the attention to the owner, I found the owner to also be the same way. I feel customer service is everything and if you don't have that it's not worth my time. The waitress went so far as to stick her tongue out at us as we were leaving. This was all done I front of the owner. Very very poor customer service. I will never go here again.

Port Side was a very pleasant surprise. I can't believe that their rating is below 4. The service was very good, and  the food was excellent. My husband and I seek out fried seafood platters whenever we are visiting coastal towns. We have been to a bunch from Florida all the way to Boston. Port Side competes with the best. The lobster bisque was also quite good! The whiole belly clams were sweet and delicious!

This has been my second time eating here always clean. Nice staff food has always been good.  Recently I had the lobster BLT and it was great.  I had the regular calimar which was fresh very good.  I've had there little necks and a very good salad.  Then I went next door for my taffy dessert.

Very good food, large portions, reasonable prices, and friendly staff.  Nice clean dining room and large patio area for take-out orders. Definitely worth a visit.
