I had a very poor experience at this bookstore. I was attempting to return a textbook that had been rented from them at the beginning of the semester. Kevin, the man who appears to be the manager of the store, was not able to find my account at the store. He was incredibly passive and rude, and continued to hint towards the fact that I was "wrong" and that there was no way I rented that textbook from him at the store. I then told him that his name was on the receipt from the day the book was rented out. He then seemed a little stumped. Turns out, he entered my phone number incorrectly on the day of the rental purchase. Yes, a simple mistake on his end but in the long run, this boiled down to being HIS fault. The icing on the cake is that he didn't even offer a simple apology for this inconvenience once he realized he was in the wrong himself. I spent about 15 minutes in the store waiting for this issue to be resolved. Not impressed, and likely not coming back. He is has been rude like this in past visits I have made to the store.

Terrible! Talked to a man by the name of Kevin I believe. He is extremely rude. He talked to me as if I was a young child, after telling him I understood what he was getting at. They had a wrong email address, so I was unable to be notified that I had a past balance. It was then sent to collections. When I called to ask him about this, he took a father figure role and scolded me, not professional at all. When I asked questions his answer majority of the time was "I don't know".

Great store. Huge clothing selection. They carry all the books you need for MSU classes and are always cheaper than the Barnes and Noble store on campus.You can rent all your books too.
