We telephoned the RV park 4X to make reservations but no one answered.  The message said they will call us back within 2 days.  We arrived there anyway and stayed two days.  The park was clean, organized, and we used the available showers.  The check-in clerk promised our RV spot would have "strong WI-FI" but it actually had ZERO.  Even in the club house was very week to non at all.

Very convenient park between Big Bend National and Big Bend Ranch State Park.  Lots of things to do at the Lajitas Resort including golf, zip-lining, trail-rides, river trips and more.  Great hiking also.  Was disappointed in the RV park itself, despite the great resort and the parks nearby.  There is full hookup service including water, sewer, 50 amps.  Only select sites have cable and wifi is just average.  The campsites are set up with shared utilities between sites, so you are always going to be extremely close to the neighbor on one side.  VERY CLOSE!  Also, the campground itself is pretty run down.  Grading of sites, pic-nic tables falling apart, no landscaping, and the dumpsters in the open with no screening or attempt to disguise.  The "patio" side of our site had a great view of the dumpster, but not so great of the beautiful scenery in the area.  The pool could have been nice, but the plaster was falling off the adobe walls surrounding it and the lounge chairs had old, faded and flat cushions.  This place has potential if they would pay attention to details and aesthetics.  People who love to camp want to enjoy the beauty of nature, not looking at the side of their neighbor's camper or a dumpster.

I was originally meant to camp in Lower Madera Canyon but wrecked my car trying to find my campsite.  I was stranded and alone in a place I had never been and the owner took me in and allowed me to set up camp on his property while I got my bearings. He even brought me a grill and coal and lighter fluid and a batch of his homemade ice cream. The folks in the site next to me took me under their wing and helped my get back home to Austin, TX. The hospitality is out of this world and the facilities/amenities were excellent.

Loved our experience.   Golf course at Lajitas was great.  Here is a knee knocking ciew of a par 3 from tee to green.  Thanks SH

Just returned from a 5 day stay at this RV Park.  Can not say enough nice about how it is run.  Texas friendly service.  Park and facilities well kept.  Scenery pleasing and campground large and spacious.  If we go back this is where we will stay.
