Very friendly staff. The people were so helpful and fun and interesting. There is a swimming pool so on a hot day that is a plus. They also have a pond you can feed the fish and they have chickens. if you are camping with your horses there's a place for your horses to spend the night. There is a little Rec Hall sort of thing open 24 hours where you can watch TV or borrow a book to read. There is a laundry. There's also a cafe that wasn't open when we were there. The showers and restrooms are okay. I think they could spruce up this place a little bit I don't think there's been much new or different added to it in 20 years or so. So it's all very functional just not modern at all and not necessarily maintained the best it could be. But again the people are very nice and that's a plus :-) there is also a little convenience store that's open until 8 p.m.

Clean well maintained.   Good food.   Lots of prickels on ground not good for puppy paws

A former KOA so it has all the "komforts" you'd expect.  Pool, laundry plus other quirky finds like chickens and a fish pond.  The owners are super nice and accommodating- especially to my road weary kids.  If you're driving through Texas and need a place to chill... you've found it.

Brian was wonderful and so helpful. This is our first excursion in our RV so we are novices but Brian was immediately available when we needed assistance. 
When I called prior to arrival he also advised us to be careful due to high winds!

very nice and clean place. great bathrooms with showers and AC Laundry room. very affordable prices just for stopping by for 6-8 hours. definitely a great rest stop!
