I am extremely pleased with my dealings with Maxatawny. I bought a car from them years ago - which turned out to be reliable and economical (no hidden problems). So, I went back and I received a more than fair trade-in price for another of my vehicles, and bought a very low mileage Mercedes wagon for an equally fair price. The vehicle was looked at, and delivered in tip-top shape. I have recommended them to other of my friends who have also purchased cars from them and have been pleased as well. My brother has also purchased from them twice - and again - the cars were in fine shape and reliable. The owner, Paul, is very honest and direct, and no pressure, and made suggestions as to the best choice of vehicles. I met the mechanic,Tom, who seems very knowledgeable and competent and equally above-board. All in all, I would rate them A+ for integrity and service. It doesn't make sense to buy a new car anymore - better to let someone else take the depreciation - rather buy at a fair price and still get many years of good use. Their low-key no pressure approach has made me comfortable enough to deal with them repeatedly. Would definitely recommend them (and have) to friends or family!

Buying a used car can be a bewildering process especially for me who knows very little about cars. I bought a three years old Toyota Corolla in very good condition. The price was fair and there were no hidden problems. I found Paul, the owner, to be very helpful in the process, always available to answer questions. He came across as a genuinely honest man. I feel very lucky to have found a great car for a great price with no hassle. Definitely recommend this place, and I will be back to get my next car here.
