Would not recommend. Staff were argumentative and clearly lacked familiarity with paperwork common to vehicle registration and emissions testing. As for their online appointment request system, which I tried to use the previous day without a response: "We only check that 24 hours after you request an appointment." The entire experience was sketchy, at best. Will not return, and suggest anyone considering them go elsewhere, regardless of convenience.

CROOKS! I wish I could give zero stars but an unable to. I pulled my 2007 Ford Expedition up to get a new inspection. First off I had to wait for a fax to come, after the fax came the lady that runs the office was NOWHERE to be found so I had to wait another 15-20 minutes for one of the garage guys to come out for it. They did the inspection and then the guy to come out into the garage, He showed me ONE hole in the frame, and it was minor and wouldn't pass it. He also didn't pass it because the running board was broken a little. I am calling the Better Business Bureau about this because it should NEVER be running to begin with. I have never had a problem with inspections, I told the guy that it was RIDICULOUS and the place I would have went to up home definitely would have passed it then he decided to bash them. The garage up home has been in business for over 40 years, and knows more than he did. NEVER GOING BACK. PLEASE SAVE MONEY YOURSELF AND DON'T GO EITHER!!

When I picked up my van which had a new transmission installed the price was less than what they had quoted me. What car repair does that anymore. Very honest.

My experience with Safe and Sound was horrible. They received only one star from me because zero stars is not an option. I used to own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. During the winter I blew out the transmission trying to get unstuck. I took it to Safe and Sound to have the transmission replaced. They sold me on a jasper transmission which I had to take a loan out to pay for. A few weeks after the repair the transmission started "feeling" funny while driving. I took it back to Safe and Sound and told The Female owner (I can't remember her name) and Rob there mechanic that something didn't seem right. Rob got in my truck without me to take it for a drive, jumped on the gas and sped off down the road. He returned and said everything was fine. I was relieved. A week later driving up a strep hill on 662 the brand new transmission that there was nothing wrong with blew out leaving me stranded late at night. The next day I called them expressed my distaste and also said they should be responsible for towing to their shop. They said they would tow it but was sketchy on weather or not I would be charged for the tow. A second transmission was installed I told them I was not going to pay for the towing. The owner reluctantly agreed. When I went to pick up the truck she told me that Jasper's warrant provided only the transmission but not the transmission fluid which was going to cost me $120. I told them I didn't have it but I needed the truck to get to work and would stop back on pay day to pay for the transmission fluid. After talking to another shop they told me jasper includes the fluid and why would they use a jasper transmission in the first place when a factory dodge transmission is about the same cost. I never returned to pay for the "not included fluid". After all this the truck had the same feeling it had before, In the transmission That Rob said was fine. I ended up selling the truck and owing money on the loan for the transmission. It is my belief the Safe and Sound was trying to have me pay for the tow by saying Jasper transmissions didn't include the fluid. I will never use "Safe" and Sound auto again and hope others reading this will be aware of the bad business tactics used there. I now only use Station Auto Body.
