I've gone here often and recently learned they are owned by Roses, it's kind of a mix of affordable / cheap products depending on what you're looking for. The staff is 50/50 on customer service and with a new store manager that can't be bothered with answering questions your kind left on your own with seeking out what you want. So basicly its a go and shop at your own risk store, never knowing the mood of the staff. My wife thinks I'm addicted to the store but it's the low prices I like :)

I have gotten very nice things from here for good prices! Yummy cheap ginger candy, and other "gradma" candy! Lol 4 stars because the staff sometimes are not friendly.

I haven't been to a Maxway in a minute.  I generally go to the Roses at Iverson Mall.  I knew that Maxway was owned by Roses and inside the store they even use Roses' signage.  I was able to buy disposable cameras 5 bucks a piece just like I do at Roses so I left happy.
