Best gym I've been to. It's very complete, but avoid going late afternoon because it's crowded

McComas gym is a freaking HOTEL with all those 65 in FHD TVs and full air conditioning. McComas is too clean and too fancy. You are surrounded with colorful Virginia Tech logos all around you, on barbell plates, dumbbells, etc... Unless you are 70 years old like Arnold Schwarzenegger now, you shouldn't be on those machines because you are too afraid to injure yourself while squatting, deadlifting, benching, or simply PUMPING RAW IRON. If you are a soft person who mindlessly lifts weights up and down, then go to McComas. If you are serious about working out, sweating, getting a good pump, and bodybuilding then go to War Memorial!! Oh and you WON'T GET THE PUMP in McComas no matter if you drop set, super set, etc.

Excellent staff that are super friendly and helpful. You won't get a better pump in Blacksburg.
