McIlveen Family Law Firm = Fantastic legal experience all around!
I hired an attorney at McIlveen and was impressed from the first meeting. Theresa and her team have been a great help and have made me feel that my family and I are the complete focus of their attention. This was done even tho I know they are a busy firm and I am thankful for all the help!

I have been kept in the know of everything that has been happening and I never felt left out. Handling paperwork and the nitty gritty details of legal situations was never a worry for me as they have been amazing in helping.

I highly recommend the McIlveen law firm for family law needs and if I ever need to hire an attorney again they will be my first choice.

I can not even begin to express my appreciation for Sean McIlveen and the entire staff at McIlveen Family Law Firm! Throughout the past 17 months, Sean has not only been an amazing attorney, but also a friend. Being a victim of domestic violence, I will never forget the support and words of encouragement that I received from the entire staff at the firm and how much it meant to me during such a difficult period in my life. I really appreciated the continual communication with Sean, as well as his paralegal and other staff members, as well as their thoughtfulness.  I would highly recommend Sean and Angela to anyone who is a facing a divorce, child custody issues, equitable distribution, etc... I am very pleased with the results I received during my case, and I continually recommend McIlveen Family Law Firm to all of my friends and family.

I was recently represented by Anna Gray Carpenter of the McIlveen Family Law Firm. Divorce is typically a stressful time for all involved and mine was certainly no exception. Ms. Carpenter not only demonstrated a thorough understanding of NC divorce law statues but my judge's inclinations in other cases similar to mine. Although I have dealt with contract attorneys for a number of years, divorce law was foreign to me and throughout she was was communicative and professional, always explaining to me the various scenarios which would transpire before engaging the opposing attorney, attending mediation or going to court. This allowed me the peace of mind knowing what my outcome would likely be beforehand which assisted in reducing the inevitable stress. Therefore, I would enthusiastically recommend Ms. Carpenter if one finds themselves in the unfortunate circumstance of the breakup of the family and the inevitable pain that is associated with divorce.
