First Chris is just a great guy! Second a really good eye for design and his craftsmanship is superb. Honest and trustworthy are things that still mean something in his store. The great mom and pop type of feel. You will not go wrong with making Chris your Denton , TX jeweler!

I came here about a week ago, looking to either get a larger stone added or sell an engagement ring I recently purchased for my girlfriend. (May I add, I loved the original ring I bought, it is a vintage ring from 1908). Concerned that the ring wasn't sparkley nor big enough for my future wife, I was in a frenzy. The jeweler was very patient, upfront and honest with me about what was truly best for me and the ring I had previously purchased- stone sizes, what would work and what wouldn't. The staff helped me weigh my options, and ended up convincing me (which I am so happy they did!) to keep my original ring, and just get a larger custom size stone to replace the original, rather small diamond. I couldn't be any happier with how the ring turned out; it is simply stunning, elegant and is exactly what I wanted. After exactly one week, which is the exact time they told me they would have it ready by, I received my call to pick it up. I darted in the store with such anticipation to see what he created for me.. Amazing. The staff was just as excited as I was about the phenomenal work that was done to the ring! I could go on and on and rave about this place, I will never go anywhere else for jewelry and/or idea for custom pieces. They were extremely professional, friendly and warming. My experience was great. Thank you again McRae's!

Our earlier  ( summer '16) experience with McRae's was good....we had a ring repaired and earrings .. but the male jeweler indicated upfront the Austrian crystals may be a problem.  He did a beautiful job on both items.  Recently we took the ring back to resize along with a necklace and a bracelet for restringing.  The ring and bracelet both turned out well.  The necklace, however, is a huge disappointment.  RACHEL (at the front counter) said she knew it wasn't going well; she knew it was too tight on herself ( and that perhaps I might know a 12 year old who it might fit [??] ).  What 12 year old would even like a piece that an older grandma would wear?  When she knew it wasn't going well, she SHOULD HAVE STOPPED WORKING ON IT RIGHT THEN and called me.  To add insult to injury, Rachel STILL charged me $ 45.00 for her arts & crafts/ beading session that we all conceded I cannot wear.  I absolutely expressed my disappointment and left before saying something my husband would regret.  That was Thursday, Oct. 27th, I have since given it lots of thought and wanted to rationally pen a review.  YES.. we paid the money she charged. When we dropped off the items,  I fully thought the jeweler in back would be doing the actual repairs...... not RACHEL the front counter clerk......  A review of this calliber would have been helpful to me before I left my necklace.    I could have gotten arts/ craft supplies at Michael' s and done this bad here at home for a lot less than $ 45.00

I had a 5.56 NATO casing I wanted made into a necklace. He asked enough questions to make sure he knew what I wanted and he did a superb job with it. For bullet based jewelry, come see Chris.

This jeweler is awesome!  I took a diamond earring, that had been driven over as I lost it in the parking lot.  Chris repaired it and it is once again perfect.  I highly recommend Chris and his skills.  Thank you
