There is no doubt that the customer service at Mbom is the worst. But let's also look at the cause of the problem. First it is important to note that poor services at the Mbom is not a new thing. This has always been the case for years with no signs of improvement. That means there is a fixed cause of the problem. I think the problem is failure of the state to provide adequate funds to run this government institution properly. And the reason for this failure is negligence. Now why would the state neglect the board of nursing? Well, nursing is a job held predominantly by minorities, so no need to explain that further. When the state constantly neglects and allocates inadequate funds to run the board, what do you think will happen? Well trained personnel will not be hired, the few undertrained personnel hired will each have to do the job meant for two, the website will hardly ever be updated, you will have to wait in line for hours to get the services you want.

Rude people. Confusing website. When a mistake is made doesn't matter, you as a member who just got out of nursing school are paying again. Their website is looks like it was made in 1994 and never updated. I will enjoy the day I never have to deal with them again. Hey how about hiring competent people and updating your website. Instead of just gouging people for money and providing inadequate help. I would hate to see how you take care of patients.

I truly believe MBON's listed phone is stuffed in a closet with the ringer turned off. Thanks for NOTHING.

I have never had customer service that has been this poor in my entire life. In regards to those that are answering the phones, I highly recommend some educational training. Not only have I been hung up on, I had dealt with extreme rudeness in addition to complete lack of competency. Questions go unanswered or ignored, and in the off chance that one takes the time to transfer your call, you are essentially rerouted to someone who has no interest in assisting you. Being that this is a governing body that is supposed to be representing the health care field of Maryland, I am immensely displeased and dissatisfied and as a result, the entire interaction has been shameful.
