Incompetent and dishonest, possibly to point of criminality. Health Care L.A. aka MedPoint only seems to pay lip-service to customer support, lacks local or toll-free number for L.A. residents in what seems a deliberate obstruction.

They don't manage anything but their own self-serving bureaucracy, forcing me to spend hours on the phone micro-managing my own health care in absence of them doing their job. 

I've been going in circles with L.A. Care and Health Care L.A. over a botched referral, 150-200+ calls, averaging 3 to 6 hours a week. They seem to work very hard at NOT receiving paperwork and denying it when received, then they tell me that they have the paperwork and authorization is in process, then they stop taking or returning calls, then they deny and claim they never got paperwork or calls, then they falsely claim they advised me in advance that I was not covered.

L.A, Care's own records prove Health Care L.A. / MedPoint are lying about records and lying about grounds for denial and even lie about their lies. 

It's very difficult to tell where the Larry-Curly-Moe incompetence stops and their outright sleaze takes over.
