As I am currently on the bus, I can already say this has been the worst experience I've had with bus transportation ever. Aside from putting your own luggage in the bus as opposed to having someone do it for you, this is the most uncomfortable ride I've ever been on. I'm all for air conditioning but it is so cold in here I can barely even text this review, and I'm not exaggerating. They won't do anything about it because I guess having uncomfortable customers is what this company really strives for. Three hours on the road and not one rest stop yet. Last time I'll ever use this as my way of transportation. Even the greyhound is better than this.

Decent enough bus service. No doubt. I really wanted to like this service after trying many other services in Boston/NY/DC. However, this service has its own flaws and are really bad ones. [1] They would charge $5.00 either if you want to get in advance on a bus or if you are late and missed your bus. BUT the bus you paid to get in advance wouldn't leave on time and may eventually wait until another the bus is full with passengers who pay the extra $5.00. So if your actual reservation is just 30 mins or 1 hr from the bus you want to get on, just wait for your bus. [2] Very rude customer service (DC). When asked questions as to why they wouldn't leave on time; the replies coming from the Megabus workers are completely moronic or senseless. They just want the $5.00. [3] Driver swappings: Drivers swap on route claiming they can drive only for 10 hrs and have to wait for the next driver. So far the best I have seen is the swap takes nearly 30 mins. How shall passengers who have a connecting bus or ought to catch a flight from the destination manage?

after almost a 3 hr delay making ys extremely late, we contacted megabus to explain tbe situation, although circumstancial I would have at the very least expected an apology for the inconvenience they assumed i wanted something for free due to the major delay, I was just calling to inform them as many passengers got off the bus as it kept repeatedly shutting down due to overheating and they basically told me to go kick rocks and hung up on me. I continue to use their servuce from time to time but avoid it if i can

I could not change my reservations even though the website said I could. When I called to ask for a manager I was hung up on multiple times. I will never be using Megabus again and I strongly discourage others from using it. Save yourself the money!
