Starting out as a muffler shop we have expanded to a full service car repair shop that performs services from car ac repair to exhaust repair to tire changes at our tire shop. I could not be happier with the service I received from the crew at the Meineke in Granite City. I was on my way to Chicago when I experienced car trouble and had to pull of the interstate. It was a little after 3:00 pm on a Saturday so most mechanic shops were closed. I saw the Meineke in Granite City was open and when I called they said even though they had many other projects to work on, they could still help me out. The team ended up working past close to repair my car and I was able to make it to Chicago in time for my holiday party that Saturday night. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done on their car.

The employee at the front desk was very nice; I asked him about an oil change package (bogo) free  that I didn't understand online. I made my appointment online before Christmas, so he gave me the free oil change card. I am very happy with this Meineke Center. I don't have to remind them to reset my odometer after my oil change, like I had to remind everyone else. I will definitely return to this shop for all my car repair needs. They know what they are doing!

Usually the service is great from here,however my brother recently bought a brand new tire and upon purchase assumed the tire would last at least a year or more, as it was brand new. Less than 4months after it was put on the tire exploded and he brought it back to see if he could be helped or refunded as he hadn't driven over anything sharp or smashed into anything to cause this. They told him a new tire,plus labor and mounting would be more than $150 (original brand new tire was $100) and that they don't guarantee or give warranties for their work anymore. So I guess if you do buy tires from this Meineke don't expect any type of guarantee of them lasting or any assistance if/once they don't. Lesson learned. We frequent this location alot and now will be looking elsewhere for car service help. 
I have heard from several people that the management of this location has changed so that mat have alot to do with this particular experience.

It's a great place to have your vehicle serviced! They know what they are doing and have fair prices and are quick! Definitely recommend them!!
