We went here because my brake pads were thin.  We should have known that  this was not the place to go when the woman at the register questioned our need to have our brakes done at all.  Basically, she said most people don't have their brakes worked on until there is something noticeably wrong.  I'm assuming because they would not have a valid reason to overcharge them.  They called us later and lo and behold they claimed there was a warp in the rotor. We had never noticed the  vibration or pulling that the tech alleged when he drove it. Since most rotors are good for at least 2 or 3 brake jobs, we knew the rotor did not need to be replaced. My husband told them just to replace the brake pads and resurface the rotor.  We ended up picking up the car and taking it somewhere else when they refused to resurface the rotors when changing the pads.  We took our car to Power Auto in Duluth, and in the time it took Meineke to just get us an estimate, I had my front and rear brakes done.  I also paid $100 less for both front and back than what Meineke was charging for just the front. There was also no mention of any issue with rotor.  Stay away they will try to con you into unnecessary parts and repairs.

DISHONEST!  This location will charge you for work they do not do. On May 11, 2017 (Thursday), I went in for an oil change and to have my cooling system checked. They did the oil change quickly, and then the technician said he would have to run a pressure test on the cooling system before he could figure out if there was a problem.  Shortly thereafter, the technician waved me over and said he could NOT perform the test because my radiator had cracked. I asked him if a pressure test had been run on the system, and he said NO. 

When I got up to the counter to pay for my oil change and to get a quote for the radiator repair, the cashier insisted that a pressure test had been run and informed me that they are charging me for it.  I told the cashier what the technician had said a few minutes ago, and she still insisted that the test had been done and was charging me for it.  She even went to the technician to ask if it had been done and he said YES! (A. He clearly told me no, B. He couldn't have run the pressure test because the radiator was cracked, C. I watched my car the whole time and never saw such a test performed).  The cashier proceed to get very rude and sassy and told me I would have to pay for the pressure test or I wasn't going to get my car back!  I reluctantly paid, and when I asked the technician for the radiator repair quote, the cashier piped up from the back saying she had already given it to me and she wasn't going to give it to me again. When I left, I was so mad I could've spit nails!!!

When I got home, I called Meineke Customer Service. I calmly explained the situation, and I was told someone would get back to me within 48 hours.  48 hours came and went, and no one ever called.  I called back on Monday, and I was told that a Corporate Resolution Specialist would call me, but they never called me. I called back on Tuesday and the same thing happened. No one called me. I finally got a call on Friday which I missed, but promptly called back, only to not get an answer. On Thursday, May 25 (TWO WEEKS LATER), I finally speak with the the Corporate Resolution Specialist, who informed me that corporate cannot do anything about complaints since each location is independently owned and operated. I would have to call the store manager to make my complaint and get a refund. 

This was my first and last time going to these DISHONEST mechanics. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE.

Did a great job. They weren't fast, but they weren't slow. There's nice couches to chill on while they do their thing. It's a good little place

Careful with these scamers. They told me that ac refill was $179. I left my car and came back when it was finished. They gave me a bill of $200.43. They charged me extra for shop supplies! Who chargers $179 to refill freon then charge me more because they are using their tools!. I will not do business with any Meineke and won't recommend anyone either.

This place is horrible making excuses about how they have one person missing to work. I already made an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation. A bunch of liars! And slow people. The manager is very unprofessional.
