A homeowners best frenemy. While Home Depot across the street often has the leg up in quality of tools, Menards is miles away in cleanliness, lighting and organization. The wider selection of home goods and live piano mean the wife is more amenable to tagging along for the third trip of the weekend to pick up the one part you didn't think you'd need the last two trips.

For a big box store, there are often enough staff that I can find someone to help. The store is well-stocked, in fact a little over-stocked. To explain, there are so many aisles that have 2,3 or 4 slots on the shelves for the same item. It's hard enough to find the specific light bulb, spray paint, or light switch I need without having to sort through 3 times as many on the shelves, all side-by-side, making it even harder to narrow down the choices.

 I cannot rare it any higher because my store is so incredibly big, it is a job to get from one end to the other. That's not mentioning having to navigate 2 floors. The cart escalators work just fine, but it takes SO LONG! I almost always take one of the two elevators, which is an issue of its own.

Although I'm a female,  Menards is a favorite place of mine. I buy literally everything from soup to nuts there.  Today was no exception.  I bought many food items , two plants and a dehumidifier ! Thank you Mr. Menard , I enjoy your stores tremendously !

I had to return an item without a receipt. I like the fact that if you paid by credit card, you can find your transaction. Customer Service Rep was a little cranky but then again, we all have our days. I love that you can literally buy everything there! It's truly a one stop shop. From a 2x4 to a gallon of milk and body wash along with a new toliet! Haha great place and prices!

Service is 5 star. Pricing is 5 star..no wonder home depot parking lot looks desserted
