I explained to the staff member that I do not eat grain and asked if there was any grain in the Cesar salad. She assured me there was not. I walked 10 minutes back to my class with my salad to find it was covered in quinoa. I was very disappointed and did not have time to go back.

Pricey, but oh so delicious. I had the avocado, kale and quinoa salad. It was flavorful and crunchy and filling. Perfect!

It's haute cuisine on a (carefully selected) fresh piece of bread. Or you can have it as a salad. Mendocino Farms ruined all other sandwich shops for me. Nothing can compare with their Pork belly banh mi, Steak BLT or Peruvian steak sandwiches. Expect long line around noon. Deal with it, the food is worth it. And don't lean on the chalkboard (you'll see).

This is my favorite spot for a sandwich in DTLA. They have 3 locations in downtown and all of the are consistently great but this location I feel has a slightly better product, but the location on Fig/7th has the best customer service. You really can't go wrong with anything but I personally love the Farm Club and Not So Fried. The ice tea is great too. The line is 20 people out the door after about 11:30am for lunch so I like to get here early. Seating can be limited if you come later but there is a nice outdoor courtyard which is shaded in the summer and gets a lot of sun in the winter.
