I hate giving low ratings because no one really deserves negativity. It’s unfortunate that this is the only daily food delivery service in Lincoln. I love picnicker but they have limited hours so I have to use metro. Almost every experience I have with metro food is late, cold, missing something, or wrong. They are growing as a small town company so maybe there are complications affiliate businesses and maybe there’s just problems with the restaurants themselves. It’d probably be better if they were able to keep hot and cold separate and also go through everything to the sauces to make sure things are correct. And also made sure to hire the correct talent to ensure customer satisfaction. But I do want to say there was one delivery driver who was amazing. I wish I knew his name so I could say it on here. There were complications with our order and he went out of his way to make sure it was correct. I wish the rest of the drivers were as amazing as he was, most of them are rude, but it’s probably because they’re in a rush to do other deliveries. I wish the other drivers were like this kid, he was spectacular. I’m sorry Dave I’m harping on this but I keep trying metro hoping it gets better. And I hope you do know you have one great team member. I just wish I remembered who that was. If I continue using metro and it gets better I will definitely change this review. And I do hope y’all continue to grow and get better.

Great concept. Unfortunately a bit expensive. The fee for delivery is usually half if not doubled my order of food. And the fact they already write in the tip and ask if it's okay, who's gonna say no I don't want to tip 6 on a 20 dollar order, kinda rude. I wish the delivery fee would be less and let us figure our own tip rather than be asked on the spot of your suggested tip. My food order took over an hour and my total was $22 and with delivery fee and tip was $38. Bit extreme, especially when y'all get a discount on food with your affiliated restaurants.

Would of been nice if you would of updated your website earlier that you were closed at 4 P.M. New Years Eve. I would of ordered earlier. I spent a lot of time trying to figure what I wanted to order. I went to order at 2:30 P.M and I was told you were closed. Website said you close at 4 P.M I didn’t see anything earlier on your website that indicated you were closing at 4 P.M. Next time you close early, announce it earlier instead of ordering an hour and a half before closing, and not being able to order. UPDATE ...Your website now says you closed at 3 P.M. so it is obvious you change your closing time for when ever you feel like it. My guess is you noticed I tried to put my order in at 2:30 so you changed your closing to 3.P.M. A business needs to be consistent. I will give you a try again.

Though I love these guys a lot, they are very unreliable and close or refuse orders now and again for reasons unknown. Unfortunately, they are unprofessional in that regard. Though they are friendly to customers, the fact that they will close or refuse orders at unknown times is what provokes this rating. I have been a regular customer for over 2 years, I work and go to school and can't cook all the time, they were the only place I could order a variety from and receive it in decent quality. But their unreliability and uncertainty just isn't acceptable to paying customers. Over all, decent. Be sure you order very early.

Never. Again. The hot food was cool. They packed the salad in with what was the hot food so it was warm & wilted. There was a 30% tip on top of an $8.50 service charge. Wouldn't mind the fees if they had decent equipment & the brains to not pack hot and cold together in the same worn out container but they had neither decent containers nor brains.
