I really wanted to like this restaurant because there are so few choices in Poolesville. Arrived early on a Saturday evening. There were three people working the dining area. While the activity from them was frenetic, the service was absolutely terrible. Totally ineffective. The phone was ringing at full volume over and over with no one answering it. No place settings at any of the tables. They were pretty quick delivering the chips and salsa but heaven help you if you needed a napkin! Drinks were slow coming. And once the waitress took my order she never showed up again. The people at the table to my right had to ask for their check three times. I ordered the chicken enchiladas which I did enjoy. Very frustrating meal.

The food was good, can't complain of the taste but the service was horrible. We waited about 15-20 min standing next to the table just so we could get two extra chairs, we were served 1 container of chips and salsa for a party of 7 . We had to ask them if they could bring extra chips, we placed our order and waited about 30-40 min until the rice and beans came. 10 minutes later the rest of the food came, no plates . We waited another like 10 min for plates. And I had to walk to the kitchen to ask for silverware because there was not enough for the people in the table. During our stay we were not greeted, during our meal never asked if everything was ok, not offfered any water. Took 15-20 min to get the bill.

If I could give negative stars I would. I generally don't leave bad reviews, but the service was poor and and the food was mediocre and that's giving them credit. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I'm not sure how they have so may stars. If there are more than 7 people in there, you can't hear anything, Taco Bell is a better dining experience!

Little gem in the center of Poolesville - The food is authentic tasting and fresh. The grilled steak is a must eat, flavorful and tender. Glad the pub was closed and I got a chance to try this spot. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area again.
