Excellent Mexican restaurant! Real Mexican style food served here. With great live music and service. If you want to have a meal with friends or family this is the perfect place. Sometimes there's a line to enter but the wait it's totally worth it. Highly recommended if you are in town!

Absolutely loved this place. My husband is Mexican and it’s hard to find good Mexican food and he felt like this was the closest to his grandmas cooking. Our waitress was a much older and sweet lady who delivered super fast service. The vibe of the place is fun and our food is tasty. Get a picture with Hispanic Elvis!

You can't visit San Antonio and not eat at Mi Tierra. It's open 24 hours a day. The food is fantastic and more authentic Mexican food than it is Tex-Mex. There are strolling live singers as well - not always Mariachi. The mix of smells that come out of the kitchen area are also amazing and intoxicating. Everything from fresh grilled steak and fajitas to traditional Mexican food fair to fresh-brewed coffee. They also serve breakfast all day long so getting an order of enchiladas with eggs on top was no problem. Top it off with a tres leches cake and a cup of coffee and it's a meal that's hard to beat

Great food! Basically you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A stand out side is their black beans. Many times beans are just OK in flavor or just a filler for the meal. My wife and I agree that Mi Tierra's black beans are truly the best that we've ever had. The staff is very friendly and make you feel like you're at home. Clearly they are very proud of the legacy of Mi Tierra. Our waitress took the time to tell us about the history of the restaurant. Again lots of pride in this place. This will be a regular stop whenever we are in San Antonio!

We choose Mi Tierra because it was close to our hotel and had good reviews. It was packed when we arrived on a Sunday evening and we expected a long wait but we were wrong - we were seated quickly and waited on immediately. Our drinks arrived lightening fast, the food was prompt and the service was excellent...we just couldn't have been happier with the entire meal. It was friendly, festive and delicious.
