Mia Margherita is the First and Only Independant Coal Fired Pizzerial in West Virginia. Our goal was to provide a unique pizza experience celebrating the way pizza found its way into the United States in the early 1900's. The original pizzerias used coal to fire there ovens and many are still in use to this day. Cooking with coal produces a crispy crust and tender center. Our pizzas cook at temperatues reaching 1000 degrees fahrenheit which produces a slightly charred crust and bottom. In addition to pizzas we feature a full bar serving domestic and import beers with Moretti on Tap. A carefully selected Italian wine list complements our Pizza offering. The bar features eat in with a specially selected bar menu available for light snacking or a complete meal. We are a family friendly restaurant sutiable for business meals, family celebrations or a casual meal celebrating simple italian foods and wines in an old world setting.
