Mediocre food for the most part but pleasant staff. I will say their chicken fried steak was pretty decent. They brought it out with the gravy on the side and it was crispy and tender. Was not a fan of the cubumber side dish. Didnt taste fresh, but they changed it out for extremely fresh fried okra right out of the fryer.Food: 4/5
The place was clean. Our waitress was Kelly and she was good but we could hear other waitresses behind us talking about how they refuse to offer drink refills, and some other personal discussions that shouldn’t take place in front of customers. Chicken fried chicken was decent but it did taste a little like it was fried in the same grease as fish. I wouldn’t recommend the meatloaf, it wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t order it again
We just had a fabulous breakfast including a couple of odder requests for that meal...hot tea, fried okra with my scrambled eggs, fruit and biscuit. It was delicious and the tea was served in a pot. Most unusual for most places in this country. We highly recommend, and endorse good pricing as well.
Food wasn’t bad but was shortly ruined by our server Kandy was probably the most disrespectful and should never be in the customer service line of work ever again. I’ve ate here at least 10 times and every time you can hear Kandy being disrespectful or arguing with customers, i’ve also even heard her OWN EMPLOYEES tell her that she is out of line. I will come back when she doesn’t work there anymore, hopefully she learns her lesson
Management needs to revamp things and hire more staff. Our order was lost for over an hour even though we asked about it twice. We watched everyone that arrived after us else eat and leave. Food was mediocre. All staff seemed unhappy, overworked and audibly complained. We didn’t get a discount for our lost order too. I don’t blame the friendly waitress, but management needs to fix things.
What a classic diner spot! Liam, grandma and I ate here after Liam took his driving test. I got the chef salad, there were many ham cubes I couldn’t eat all of them but it was satisfying! Liam got cheesy garlic bread and then the gyro and seemed pleased.
Love this place when Katie is working. Other waitresses can be rude and unfriendly. Don't go 45 minutes before closing. The waitresses will be very rude to you because they are ready to go home. Katie is the only waitress that will serve you close to closing.Food: 5/5
First time to eat here service was good place was clean other customers seems to be long time customer food is worth going back for another try we had the fish plate it was very goodFood: 5/5
Nice, clean little diner. Service was prompt and courteous and the pricing is fair. Food was presented and prepared well. I was traveling through but if I had occasion to eat in that area again I definitely would consider a return trip.
Don't waste a stop here. Staff was arguing the whole time we were there. The was a staff member somewhere eating the whole time. They were more worried about feeding their faces than taking care of customers. We stopped here Sunday 1/22/23. Food was good not great.Food: 3/5
