Sales person was fine showing. Couldn't answer many of my questions. Then got a personal phone call and disappeared. Walked around BY MYSELF and was told I couldn't do that and another sales person would be right with me. He didn't show up either. Was driving out and the original sales person chased me down. Kept on going and never looked back.

I guess there are people who don't care if their motorhome is in the service department for months, however, I am not one of them.  I did make an appointment and when I took it in, I was told it would be at least 3 weeks before they even looked at it.   when I expressed my concern, because at the time i made the appointment, I expressed that we were leaving on a trip, at the end of October, I was told two things, (1) I can take my motorhome any where that services Forest River, if I don't like the service at this location and (2) that I could just come and get it if it wasn't done.   

I reviewed this dealership when I purchased my motorhome and it was rated very bad for service.  My sales team informed me that they were revamping the service department and a new "Sheriff" was in town.  Evidently, nothing has changed.   I even had to call the Santa Fe Springs (Corporate) dealership to get an answer on the 1st service appointment.  
Still waiting to see.

Very bad customer service, being over 3 weeks and we can’t get a straight answer on the loan approval process plus when I contact them for a deposit regund they hang up on me. Will from finance is nice when you are signing the purchase agreement but after that he is unprofessional. Very disappointed of the RV purchase process. Don’t bother with Mike Thompson RV!!!

I went to see trailer's at Colton went with my Husband and child. as i walked by the sales individuals. I looked at them eye to eye while they sat there  and talking among themselves two males and a female, all individual looked at us and just ignored us. Would mention names but never got one. So we decided to look through all open travel trailers ourselves  During our visit we entered numerous trailers about 20 or so several other sale persons walked by us and drove there carts without saying a single word not even a greeting. We left the Colton dealership without any sales person bothering to asks us a question 
 as we walked right by them. 
Several weeks later, I happened to be in OC and decided to visit the Fountain Valley dealer. No appointment  just walked in with family. i was approached by an individual Eric B. in sales . Advised him that we are looking at Class A Diesel or considering a trailer as we had a purchased a 2500 HD he answered all questions he even walked with us to a large selection. he took his time answering questions about different coaches and with us even though we didn't purchase one that day we will return and will buy one from this individual. Eric Thank You for making our day a great Experience and being very knowledgeable about the products you sell at Fountain Valley dealer.  -1 Star COLTON , ++5 STARS

I would give them Zero stars but that does not appear to be an option. Stay away from these folks. First of all we went here to buy our 1st 5th wheel. They showed us a model that my wife and I loved. We decided to sleep on it and do some research. What we found was that the RV they were trying to sell us was too heavy for our truck but I would say they really don't care about anything but selling RV's period. Long story short we ended up purchasing a smaller RV from Trailer Hitch RV in Nipomo for nearly $30k less than what Mike Thompson's was offering as a "sale" price on the same RV. Yes you read that right $30k!! When they realized we could get this deal in Nipomo they offered to beat the price by $99. How about that! Had we not shopped around they would have gladly took our money so we drove to Nipomo out of principle. Next is the NIGHTMARE of the Mike Thompson's "Service" Dept. We had a water leak and took it to them for warranty service. Immediately they are selling me on filing an insurance claim for a new roof, and we did it! $11k dollars later we take our newly repaired RV on a family reunion, hook up water for the first time, take a quick cat nap and wake up to a flooded RV! OMG are you kidding me. Turns out they never fixed the leak and it is now sitting on their lot waiting to be repaired (I am not feeling very smart at this point) last time they knew we were gong on a RV trip in 3 days and they said "no problem" only to take 3 MONTHS to return our RV that was never repaired! I just called them and got Voice Mail at the service Department (shocking) If they do actually repair the leak I will never go back to this dealership in my lifetime. Save yourself a lot of money and frustration and STAY AWAY from this dealer. Customer service is non existent unless you are buying an RV but it stops immediately after you sign the bottom line. SAD.
